Updating the Roadmap
This Roadmap was finished two years ago, thus it is time for updating it. The context has changed a bit, the state of the art has definately changed, and thus the current challenges and strategies section could be updated.
In the next Sound and Music Computing Conference (http://smc2009.smcnetwork.org/) that will take place in Porto from the 23th to the 25th of July 2009 there will be a special session on "Current Challenges in Sound and Music Computing" of which I am the coordinator. My idea is to use that session as an excuse to update this roadmap.
Before the conference I would welcome any suggestion from the community. Anyone wanting to present their point of view can do it by posting comments in the different sections of the Roadmap or also by making a short presentation at the SMC conference by submiting a proposal here. After the conference we could update this Roadmap with all the contributions.
I have written initial comments in the Context and State of the Art sections with some ideas on how to update these sections. Of course my comments are personal, so please add your own comments.
